Bitcoin Breakout Imminent as Volatility Expected to Spike

Bitcoin is testing an important technical breakout on its daily chart after climbing back above both a descending trendline and the 50-day simple moving average. The setup also shows unusually compressed Bollinger Bands, suggesting that volatility could expand sharply if $BTC holds the breakout.

The chart places the upper Bollinger Band around $65,244 as the first major upside test for Bitcoin. A sustained daily move above this level would signal expanding upside momentum and could expose the recent swing-high region around $66,000-$66,500.

However, Bitcoin still faces a larger technical obstacle in the form of its 200-day SMA, which sits near $69,139 and continues to slope lower. This moving average could become a major resistance area if the rebound extends.
