Bitcoin Breaks Above $81,000 as ETF Inflows Fuel Rally
Bitcoin (BTC) continued its upward trend, crossing above $81,000 on Friday, following a rally in U.S. spot ETF inflows and strategy buying.
The cryptocurrency rose by 3.93% over the past 24 hours to trade at $81,017, while Ethereum gained 4.51% to reach $2,515.
Several major altcoins also saw significant gains, including BNB, XRP, Solana, Tron, Hyperliquid, Dogecoin, and Cardano, which rallied up to 6.91%.
Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Giottus, noted that the rebound from $77,000 on September 3 demonstrates how quickly sentiment can shift in response to changes in interest-rate expectations.
However, Balaji Srihari, VP - Business, India at CoinSwitch, cautioned that momentum may be starting to look stretched, with daily RSI above 73 and hourly RSI above 80 indicating overbought conditions.
