Bitcoin Breaks Above Fair Value Gap Ahead of Trump's Speech
Bitcoin (BTC) has broken above a weekly fair value gap near $74,092, supported by significant inflows into Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and heavy short-seller liquidations.
The price of BTC traded near $76,712 on August 21 after the technical breakout, with $606.29M in ETF inflows on August 20 marking the largest single-day inflow since May 1.
Around $4 billion in short-seller liquidations over four days also contributed to the bullish momentum, signaling a potential increase in crypto price and adoption.
However, markets face short-term liquidity risk and potential volatility ahead of President Trump's Friday speech as remaining bids are absorbed.
