Bitcoin Breaks Through $80,000 as Solana Soars

Crypto markets saw an uptick in the evening session, driven largely by strength in Bitcoin and Solana. The flagship cryptocurrency reclaimed the significant $80,000 level, rising 1.40% to trade at $80,132.51.

Solana was the standout performer, surging 6.29% to reach a price of $108.59, its largest single-session gain among major tracked coins. XRP and Dogecoin also saw gains, climbing 1.88% and 1.07%, respectively, while Cardano added 0.53%. Avalanche rose 0.80% to trade at $7.50, and BNB inched up by 0.29%.

However, Ethereum was the sole laggard, dipping 0.16% to $2,502.83, a modest decline that did little to dampen the overall market mood. Market participants are now watching whether Bitcoin can consolidate above the $80,000 mark heading into the next session.
