Bitcoin Breakthrough Triggers $517M ETF Surge
The cryptocurrency market saw significant inflows this week, with Bitcoin ETFs pulling in $517 million as Bitcoin broke above $70,000. This price breakout led to a surge in institutional money, with eight U.S. spot funds attracting fresh capital and none reporting an outflow.
Blackrock's IBIT remained the preferred vehicle for Bitcoin investment, pulling in $284.74 million, which is more than half of the total daily inflow. Other notable contributors include ARK 21Shares' ARKB ($77.71 million) and Fidelity's FBTC ($62.41 million).
Ether ETFs also saw significant gains, with Blackrock's ETHA collecting $122.12 million. The combined net assets of Bitcoin and Ether ETF markets rose to $96.37 billion.
