Bitcoin Bull Cycle to Peak Outside US: Ki Young Ju Predicts
Cryptoquant founder Ki Young Ju has made a bold prediction that the peak of the current bitcoin bull cycle will occur outside of the United States. According to him, institutional capital and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) deployed in other regions will drive this growth. He cites South Korea as an example, where regulatory barriers have hindered adoption despite its strong interest in cryptocurrency.
The US has already seen significant investment in bitcoin ETFs, with nearly $57 billion flowing into them over the past two years. However, Ki Young Ju believes that this is not representative of the future trend. He envisions a scenario where a provincial Korean banker recommends a bitcoin ETF to a grandmother as a safe investment for her retirement.
Russia is also showing signs of accelerating its adoption of bitcoin. Sberbank, the country's largest bank with over 100 million clients, plans to accept BTC, ETH, and USDT as loan collateral starting September 1st. This move highlights the increasing institutional acceptance of cryptocurrency beyond the US market.
