Bitcoin Bull Run: Large Wallets Build Stash as US ETFs See Record Inflows
Large wallets holding over 100 BTC ($77,895) increased their holdings by approximately 60,000 BTC in August. On the other hand, small wallets holding less than 1 BTC reduced their holdings by 14,000 BTC and those holding between 1-100 BTC decreased their holdings by 33,000 BTC.
The US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $216.7 million over one period, with IBIT leading the charge at $205.9 million. Tom Lee believes that the current rally is still in its early stages and predicts that Bitcoin could reach levels above $100,000, potentially even surpassing $150,000.
The increase in large wallet holdings and the influx of funds into US spot ETFs are considered positive signals for the cryptocurrency market, particularly for Bitcoin. However, it's essential to note that these developments do not guarantee a continued upward trend and investors should remain cautious.
