Bitcoin Bulls Eye $600K as CLARITY Act Vote Looms
The upcoming vote on the CLARITY Act has sparked optimism among cryptocurrency enthusiasts, with Bitcoin experiencing a 7.25% gain over the last 30 days.
Lyndon Wood, a capital allocator focused on long-cycle economics and structural risk, believes that the Act's passage will lead to a significant reduction in regulatory risk for Bitcoin, resulting in increased adoption and corporate buying power.
Wood predicts that a successful vote would enable participation from previously excluded actors, leading to a short-term 'buy the rumour, sell the news' behaviour. In the medium term, he anticipates a rally to $350,000 on the lower end of the spectrum and above $600,000 at the higher end after the 24-month mark.
However, not all experts are confident that the Act will pass before the Midterms, with FM Intelligence estimating a one-in-four chance of Bitcoin reaching between $135,000 and $200,000 over the next year if it does.
