Bitcoin Bulls Target $77K as Analysts Confirm Five-Wave Advance
Bitcoin has maintained its bullish structure according to analysts who have been tracking the cryptocurrency's price action using the Elliott Wave Principle and Technical Analysis. Since July 1, the Bulls have been warning of a potential five-wave advance higher contingent on Bitcoin staying above $62,474. In their previous update, they showed that they were tracking this potential wave higher, but noted that it was crucial for BTC to stay above this level.
Four weeks have passed since the July 1 update, and Bitcoin has indeed held the $62,474 level, with its lowest close at $62,727 on August 1. Since then, it's been staging a 3rd-of-a-3rd wave rally, which is part of the larger five-wave advance higher.
The analysts continue to track this potential for five waves (gray) higher within the green W-3, ideally around $77,000. However, they also note that there is a >60% chance the current uptrend is over if the 4th and 1st waves overlap in an impulse.
Given the ongoing bullish price action, the analysts continue to view the 4-year cycle as invalidated. If the five-wave advance materializes, it would confirm that an important low has been struck and that the Fibonacci-based $164-337K region will be the next major target zone for Bitcoin.
