Bitcoin.com has partnered with Universal Digital Intl Limited to integrate the CBUAE-registered USDU stablecoin into its product suite and wallet. The partnership aims to make it easier for users to hold, send, and receive USDU, a fully USD-backed stablecoin that is regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE.

USDU is issued by Universal under the regulation of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) as a Fiat-Referenced Token. It has been independently audited and its smart contract verified, ensuring transparency for users. Each USDU is backed 1:1 by liquid USD reserves held with regulated UAE banks.

The partnership will allow Bitcoin.com to accept USDU as payment for designated services, and the company will work to enable USDU payments between users and merchants through its products. Additionally, Bitcoin.com will publish educational materials about stablecoins and USDU across its channels, including in-wallet 'Learn-to-Earn' content.
