Bitcoin Consolidates at $88,600 Amid $3 Trillion Crypto Market Cap

Bitcoin's price has been consolidating within a tight range of $85,000 to $90,000 for two weeks.

The total cryptocurrency market capitalization reached $3.08 trillion, up 1.2% from the previous day.

This increase comes despite Bitcoin spot ETFs experiencing their worst two-month stretch with $4.57 billion in combined outflows through November-December.

Bitcoin gained approximately 1.3% over 24 hours following a volatile end to 2025, while Ethereum traded near $3,000 and gained 1.5% over the same period.
