Bitcoin Consolidates Below $80,000 as Traders Eye $76,600 Liquidity Zone
The Bitcoin price is currently in a state of consolidation after its recent rally pushed it into overbought territory. The price is trading sideways, with traders watching the $76,400-$76,800 area for a potential liquidity sweep.
On the three-day chart, BTC price continues to face resistance between $80,000 and $82,000, while support remains around $73,000-$75,000. The recent slowdown follows a sharp bullish move that pushed Bitcoin into overbought territory on the daily Relative Strength Index (RSI).
The current consolidation is allowing the RSI to reset, which could create more room for another move higher if the broader bullish structure remains intact.
Ethereum price is following a similar pattern to Bitcoin, remaining above the key breakout area of $2,400. The breakout remains technically active as long as Ethereum avoids a confirmed three-day close below $2,400, with $2,300 representing another important level to monitor.
$XRP price is pulling back toward the $1.30-$1.40 support zone after becoming overbought during its recent rally. Holding this area will be important for maintaining the current structure.
