Bitcoin Cycle Pattern Identifies Path for 1,000% Upside
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel has identified a Bitcoin cycle pattern that could set up for a significant rally. According to his 'BTC Cycle Blueprint,' each cycle has produced a smaller drawdown before pushing Bitcoin to a higher peak.
The first major cycle saw Bitcoin reach $19,666, fall by 84%, and then rally to $69,000. The second cycle followed a similar sequence: Bitcoin fell 77% from its $69,000 peak before climbing to a record $126,000.
Patel believes the current cycle is following the same structure, with Bitcoin going past $126,000 before entering a decline that he estimates at 69%. He expects another bullish order block to form around $50,000 to $40,000, which could lead to a 1,000% upside.
However, not everyone agrees that this pattern still applies. Market watchers Scott Melker and Arthur Hayes have questioned whether the pattern holds this time around, and SkyBridge Capital's Anthony Scaramucci believes the next halving will 'tighten prices' enough to push Bitcoin back over $100,000.
