Bitcoin Defies Exploit and Corporate Liquidation to Hit New High
Bitcoin's price surged to its highest print since July 31, hitting $64,160 on Tuesday after a 1.6% gain in 24 hours.
The rally came despite a significant self-custody exploit that drained approximately $116 million from over 5,200 addresses since July 30.
Market capitalization stands at $1.33 trillion, with the 24-hour range confined to a narrow 2% band between $62,900 and $64,160.
The structure underneath remains bearish, with Bitcoin trading below its key moving averages, including the 20-day exponential moving average at $64,288, and well under the 200-day average around $73,308.
