Bitcoin Defies Geopolitical and Monetary Turbulence with Resilient Price Action

Bitcoin's resilience in the face of geopolitical tension and monetary policy uncertainty has caught the attention of market analysts. Despite fresh US military strikes on Iran causing oil prices to surge and equities to fall, Bitcoin held steady around $78,623, down just 0.7% over 24 hours.

This level of composure against a backdrop that would normally spook risk assets is exactly why traders and analysts are paying closer attention than usual. According to CoinGecko data, the token dipped to an intraday low near $77,162 before recovering to hold around $78,623 on Monday.

The modest daily decline does little to dent an August that's on track to close with a gain topping 24%, Bitcoin's best monthly showing since 2017. This strong performance comes against a backdrop of heightened market pressures, including a sharply hawkish tone from the Federal Reserve.
