Bitcoin's price rose by about 1.6% to around $63,700 on August 4, despite concerns over quantum computing.

The increase came after CNBC host Jim Cramer said he planned to sell his Bitcoin holdings due to worries about the potential threat of quantum computers.

Cramer cited a statement from IBM Chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna, who warned that investors should become 'paranoid' about cryptocurrency security within three to four years.

However, experts note that a practical quantum attack is still far-fetched, and current systems do not have the scale and error correction needed to conduct such an attack.
