Bitcoin Defies Selling Pressure as Corporate Treasury Buying Steps Up
In recent days, Bitcoin has shown remarkable resilience in the face of significant selling pressure. Despite a net outflow of roughly $1.26 billion, the price has remained steady around $76,000.
The source of this selling power is primarily from whales and long-term holders who offloaded between $1 billion and $1.2 billion worth of Bitcoin over a two-week window. CryptoQuant's data reveals that most of this action came from shorter-term whale wallets rather than widespread capitulation among the broader holder base.
However, corporate treasury buying has stepped in as a major counterweight to absorb the sell pressure. MicroStrategy continued making significant acquisitions during this period, and OTC desks matched large buyers with sellers directly, keeping massive orders off public exchanges.
