Bitcoin Demand Rebounds Amid Signs of Market Shift
Ki Young Ju, CEO of CryptoQuant, observed that Bitcoin spot and perpetual futures demand have turned positive for the first time since October 2025.
This shift is based on CryptoQuant's proprietary metrics tracking buying pressure in both markets. Spot demand reflects actual purchases of Bitcoin, while perpetual futures demand indicates leveraged trading activity.
A sustained rise in both spot and perpetual demand could provide a foundation for a more durable uptrend, rather than a short-lived rally driven by speculation.
Ju cautioned that the current increase is modest and needs to be confirmed over a longer period, emphasizing that a single month of data is insufficient to declare a new bull market.
