Bitcoin Demand Rises as ETFs Attract $865M and New Wallets Hit Record High

Bitcoin's institutional demand strengthened this week as U.S. spot ETFs attracted $865.3 million in net inflows from August 3 to 7, according to Farside Investors.

This surge in demand was the second-largest weekly increase of 2026, with approximately 11,792 BTC entering ETF-linked wallets, valued at around $754 million, as reported by CryptoQuant.

Meanwhile, Santiment recorded a significant increase in new Bitcoin wallet creation, with 2.27 million newly created wallets during the past week, marking the highest weekly total in one year.
