Bitcoin Dips Amid Tensions, Whales Keep Buying
Bitcoin's price dipped to $77,132 on September 2 due to escalating US-Iran military tensions and rising global government bond yields. These geopolitical and economic pressures have dampened investor appetite for riskier assets like Bitcoin.
The large holders of BTC continued accumulating, buying around 6,765 BTC worth $521 million despite the pullback. This contradicts the trend in many other asset classes, which saw a decline in investment following the rising bond yields and tensions.
Bitcoin's price is currently trading between key support at $62K, $65K and resistance at $83K, $86K. Additionally, around $14 billion in options contracts set to expire on September 25 could influence near-term price action.
