Bitcoin Dominates Repeat Purchases Among Retail Buyers
A recent analysis of user behavior on the crypto exchange Paybis reveals that Bitcoin (BTC) remains the preferred cryptocurrency among returning retail buyers, maintaining a significant lead over other assets.
The data, which covers transactions between August 2023 and August 2026, shows that Bitcoin accounted for 42.21% of users' first transactions on the platform and an almost identical 42.67% of second transactions.
By comparison, Ethereum (ETH) represented 10.39% of first transactions and 10.82% of second transactions, while stablecoins dropped from 15.29% to 11.83%.
The consistency is notable given the volatility cryptocurrency markets experienced during the three-year period, with Bitcoin maintaining virtually the same share between first and second transactions.
