Bitcoin's price has eased to around $79,000 in Asian morning hours on Wednesday, down almost 1% from its previous day value. This marks the end of a week that saw Bitcoin gain 23%, a significant increase. The price drop is attributed to traders taking profits after a week of gains.

XRP has fallen hardest among major cryptocurrencies, dropping over 4% to just above $1.44. Despite this decline, XRP still leads the pack with a weekly gain of almost 45%. Zcash, on the other hand, has dropped almost 6% to just above $783 but holds the strongest weekly gain at 55%, thanks in part to the launch of a dedicated spot ETF in the US.

Dogecoin and Solana have also seen price drops, with Dogecoin falling almost 5% to just under 9 cents and Solana slipping over 3% to just under $97. Tron has fallen almost 3% to nearly 34 cents, while BNB has dropped almost 2% to just over $695 and Ether has slipped over 1% to just under $2,465.
