Bitcoin ETF Demand Hits Record High as BlackRock and Fidelity Lead the Charge

Bitcoin's recent surge past $80k has been accompanied by growing demand for ETFs. For the third consecutive week, US Spot Bitcoin ETFs have absorbed $337.6 million in new subscriptions. This marks six weeks of continuous inflows totaling around $2.26 billion.

This steady subscription growth creates persistent buying demand, helping to absorb available Bitcoin as its price pushes through resistance. According to Farside data, BlackRock's IBIT led with $208.9 million, while Fidelity's FBTC added $104.6 million, representing the largest concentration of investment capital into these two institutions.

As long as inflows continue and BTC holds above $80k, reduced available supply could strengthen the breakout and attract additional momentum buyers. However, if demand relies heavily on individual institutions, it may indicate that demand is concentrated rather than broad-based.
