Bitcoin ETF Inflows Come to End After Seven Consecutive Weeks
The recent inflows into Bitcoin ETFs have come to an end after seven consecutive weeks. On July 23 and 24, substantial outflows from U.S.-listed Bitcoin exchange-traded funds exceeded $465 million, largely due to market concerns about potential interest-rate hikes by the Federal Reserve.
Despite the CLARITY Act's positive momentum, which is long-awaited cryptocurrency-market-structure legislation in the United States, its impact has been overshadowed by these concerns. The bill aims to allocate formal regulatory authority over crypto assets between the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Bitcoin is currently trading around $65,600, roughly 48% below its October peak of about $126,300. The token's price recovery trajectory has been fragile, with investors quickly taking profits or reducing their risk exposure when market sentiment deteriorates.
