Bitcoin ETF Inflows Near $3B as Institutional Buying Streak Ends
Bitcoin's institutional buying streak of 2026 has come to an end, but the preceding inflows into U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) suggest that demand remains substantial.
The streak had brought approximately $3 billion into Bitcoin ETFs since August 17, with a net inflow of about $924.5 million in the full week ending August 28.
However, on August 28, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $201.8 million in net outflows, snapping a nine-trading-day inflow streak.
The previous week was even stronger, with Bitcoin funds absorbing approximately $1.92 billion, their biggest weekly total of 2026.
