Bitcoin ETF Inflows Reach Record High Since October 2025
Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US posted their strongest weekly inflows since October 2025, attracting close to $2 billion. The net inflows of $1.92 billion for the week ending Friday was a significant improvement over previous weeks, according to SoSoValue data.
The surge in demand for Bitcoin ETFs coincided with a price increase of more than 20% for Bitcoin, which briefly broke above $79,000 after starting near $63,000 on CoinGecko. This price strength often changes investor behavior at the margin, making buyers more willing to allocate into spot products.
Nate Geraci, an ETF analyst, noted that spot Ether ETFs also attracted roughly $700 million during this period, with both Bitcoin and Ether funds logging their strongest weekly inflows since October 2025. BlackRock's IBIT led the rebound with about $1.33 billion in net inflows across five consecutive trading days.
While last week was a clear improvement, the broader picture for 2026 remains negative, with US spot Bitcoin ETFs down overall by about $2.91 billion in net outflows so far this year. The funds recorded their heaviest monthly outflows in June at $4.51 billion and May at $2.43 billion.
