Bitcoin ETF Inflows Rebound Amid Ether Outflows on US Spot Crypto Exchanges
US spot crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw mixed flows on August 3, with Bitcoin products posting $170.09 million in inflows and Ether funds experiencing $11.42 million in withdrawals.
Bitcoin funds reversed their previous session's performance, which saw them lose 4,217 coins worth about $265.37 million. In contrast, 2,657 Bitcoin entered listed US funds during the current session, carrying an estimated value of $170.09 million.
Ether products moved in the opposite direction on August 3, with SoSoValue recording 5,805 Ether leaving US funds, valued at around $11.42 million. This result reversed the July 31 reading when Ethereum funds gained 4,834 Ether worth about $9.03 million.
The split between Bitcoin and Ether demand could indicate that investors are now assessing each crypto asset separately instead of treating the market as one trade. The August 3 data showed clear asset-level differences, with XRP products gaining 1.06 million tokens worth nearly $1.15 million, while HYPE funds lost 17,770 tokens valued at about $964,320.
Funds linked to other assets such as Solana, Chainlink, BNB, Avalanche, Polkadot, Dogecoin, and Litecoin also reported positive daily flows, although the available data did not include complete dollar totals.
