Bitcoin ETF Inflows Snap 9-Day Streak as Ether ETFs Keep Buying
The nine-day streak of inflows into US spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) came to an end on August 28, when $202 million in net outflows left the funds.
This marked a significant shift after the group had pulled in fresh money every single day since August 17, swelling their combined assets to roughly $3.04 billion before it broke.
Bitcoin.com News reported that the group of bitcoin ETFs crossed $100 billion in net assets on August 27, with Blackrock's Ishares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) adding $277.6 million in a single day, while Fidelity's FBTC shed $83.6 million and Grayscale's GBTC gave up another $27.2 million.
However, spot ether ETFs told a different story, with the alt's funds adding $102 million, stretching their own buying run to ten consecutive days.
