Bitcoin ETF Inflows Snap After $3 Billion Streak, But ETH and Solana Funds Remain Strong
The US-listed Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a $201.9 million withdrawal on Friday, ending their nine-day inflow streak of over $3 billion.
This reversal occurred as Bitcoin fell by about 3.2% to around $77,696 on August 28. In contrast, Ethereum, XRP and Solana ETFs continued to attract cash, with a combined net inflow of approximately $145 million.
The data suggests that the weakness in Bitcoin was isolated rather than indicative of a broader market trend. The Bitcoin ETFs still finished the five sessions through August 28 with around $924.5 million of net inflows, leaving their weekly demand positive despite the streak ending.
