Bitcoin ETF Inflows Soar to $517M as Institutional Demand Returns
Regulated investors added significant exposure to Bitcoin through spot ETFs on August 19. The day saw $517.2 million in net inflows, marking the strongest daily inflow in roughly three and a half months.
The majority of this demand came from BlackRock's IBIT, which led with $284.7 million in inflows, accounting for more than half of the day's net Bitcoin ETF demand.
This influx of capital is seen as a positive sign for the market, indicating that institutional buyers are participating and not just watching from the sidelines.
While Ethereum ETFs also saw positive inflows, at $17.7 million, they were significantly lower than Bitcoin's, suggesting that ETH continues to build its own ETF base but still lags behind BTC in terms of regulated allocation.
