Bitcoin ETF Inflows Stall as Mini Trusts Gain Ground
Investors pulled $145 million from U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs on August 10, marking the largest single-day redemption in over a week, according to data tracked by SoSoValue.
The outflows from spot Bitcoin ETFs were accompanied by $14.59 million in net redemptions from Ether funds, which have struggled to attract demand since their launch in July.
However, Grayscale's mini trusts, designed to offer the same underlying exposure at a lower fee, saw notable inflows of $37.06 million for Bitcoin and $8.59 million for Ethereum.
The divergence points to a market increasingly focused on cost, with investors seeking cheaper options amidst growing competition from rivals like BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC.
