Bitcoin ETF Inflows Streak Ends as Daily Outflows Pile Up
Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) failed to extend their streak of net inflows, as nearly every trading day in the week saw a net outflow. This marks a break from the previous sequence of weekly net inflows into these funds.
Data from Cointelegraph shows that the Bitcoin ETF market did not maintain its run of consecutive weekly net inflows. Instead, almost every trading day during the week resulted in investors withdrawing more capital from the funds than they put in.
The pattern of repeated daily withdrawals was sufficient to end the streak, despite a lack of information on individual ETF issuers or the total amount of weekly outflows. Net flows are closely watched as a measure of capital moving into and out of spot Bitcoin ETFs, with positive weekly balances indicating inflows exceeding withdrawals.
