Bitcoin ETF Inflows Surge Amid Deeper Correction Risk

Bitcoin ETF inflows have surged, but this hasn't prevented a deeper correction in BTC's price. During a three-week buying streak ending Sept. 4, U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETF products attracted about $3.8 billion, marking their strongest such period during 2026.

The influx of funds showed stronger demand, but it failed to prevent Friday's price reversal. Strong U.S. employment data raised interest-rate concerns and pressured risk assets, leaving BTC testing an important weekly technical level.

Analyst Ted Pillows noted that Bitcoin's price has fallen below its 50-week moving average again, with the weekly close representing a key technical confirmation. A close above this average would return control to buyers, but another close below it would strengthen the case for a deeper correction.
