Bitcoin ETF Outflows Hit $449M as XRP Sees Rare Inflow
The crypto market is experiencing a week of significant outflows from Bitcoin ETFs. According to recent data, Ark & 21Shares' ARKB led the exits with $164.32 million in redemptions, followed closely by Grayscale's GBTC with $36.38 million and Fidelity's FBTC with $33.55 million. Blackrock's IBIT lost $24.46 million, while Vaneck's HODL shed $15.27 million. Bitwise's BITB recorded a $12.56 million outflow. Morgan Stanley's MSBT was the only fund to bring in new capital, adding $3.98 million.
The total outflows from Bitcoin ETFs have now reached $449.44 million over the past three days, with the price of Bitcoin hovering near $77,000. This has put institutional demand under scrutiny, as investors question whether the current market conditions are supporting the high prices.
Ether ETFs also saw significant redemptions, with Fidelity's FETH leading the way at $25.15 million. Grayscale's ETHE shed $7.72 million, while Blackrock's ETHA lost $18.59 million. However, some capital did enter the category, with Blackrock's ETHB attracting $13.95 million and Grayscale's Ether Mini Trust adding $7.75 million.
XRP ETFs provided a rare bright spot in an otherwise gloomy market, adding $5.14 million in new capital. Franklin's XRPZ was the sole recipient of this inflow, which stands out given the current price of XRP and the broader crypto market conditions.
