Bitcoin ETF Outflows Swell to $385M Amid Weakened Spot Trading

Bitcoin ETF products experienced significant outflows last week, totaling $385.2 million in net withdrawals from August 10 to 14. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund led the decline with $153.1 million in redemptions, followed by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust losing $78.9 million over the same period.

The outflows reversed earlier inflows of $865.3 million seen between August 3 and 7, when several major funds attracted new capital. However, this reversal highlights the volatility in institutional demand for Bitcoin ETFs.

Bitcoin's price remained range-bound near $63,500 as spot trading activity weakened, with daily volume declining to a fraction of earlier levels. This backdrop suggests that weaker spot activity can limit price confirmation and reduce follow-through when approaching nearby support or resistance zones.
