Bitcoin ETF Outflows Top $147 Million Amid Weakened Institutional Demand
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have seen two consecutive days of net outflows, totaling over $147 million.
The data from Onchain Lens shows that on September 9, these ETFs recorded a net outflow of $100.7 million, following $46.6 million in withdrawals on September 8.
This comes after a strong start to the month, with U.S. spot Bitcoin products attracting roughly $731 million on September 3 alone.
The inflows were largely driven by renewed optimism surrounding monetary policy and cryptocurrency regulation, but institutional demand has since weakened.
