Bitcoin ETF Outflows Total $147M as Investors Remain Cautious Ahead of Fed Decision
Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) saw significant outflows over two days, totaling $147.3 million. This comes after a strong start to September, where inflows reached $622.7 million driven by Bitcoin's price rally above $80,000 amid optimism on monetary policy and crypto regulation.
However, institutional demand weakened following the U.S. holiday weekend, with major products like Grayscale's GBTC experiencing significant outflows. Despite this, some ETFs such as BlackRock's IBIT and Bitwise's BITB attracted inflows, indicating that institutional interest has not fully reversed.
Investors remain cautious as Bitcoin hovers around $80,000 ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy decision and amid rising inflation concerns due to higher oil prices.
