Bitcoin ETF Sees Modest Outflow Amid Robust Price Rally
The iShares Bitcoin Trust Registered's (IBIT) assets under management saw a modest pullback on September 11, with net outflows of $24.46 million trimming its AUM by just 0.04%. Despite this, the related asset, BTC-USD, is trading at $76,755.85, extending a three-month rally of nearly 20%.
Despite the ETF's outflow, Bitcoin's short-term outlook remains constructive, with a 1-day technical signal flashing 'Buy', indicating resilient demand in the underlying market.
The divergence between IBIT's flow data and Bitcoin's price strength highlights a maturing investor base that is increasingly tactical in its ETF usage. While some holders appear to be de-risking after a strong run, the relatively small share of AUM affected indicates that longer-term conviction in Bitcoin-linked products remains intact.
