Bitcoin ETF Streak Ends with $202M Exit as Ether Continues Buying Spree
A nine-day streak of buying in U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) came to an end on August 28, when $202 million in net outflows made their way out of the funds.
The previous day, the same group of funds had crossed a milestone with combined assets exceeding $100 billion, with Blackrock's Ishares Bitcoin Trust adding $277.6 million in a single day.
Bitcoin ETFs have seen significant swings this year, including a record nine-day outflow streak in May that drained roughly $2.8 billion.
In contrast to Bitcoin, spot ether ETFs added another $102 million on August 28, extending their own buying run to ten consecutive days.
