Bitcoin ETF Trading Volume Hits Nine-Month Low Amid Lack of Price Movement
Bitcoin ETF trading volume has hit its weakest full week since October 2024, according to data from SoSoValue. The funds traded about $8.05 billion over five sessions through Friday, a 14% drop from the previous week's $9.37 billion.
This is the lowest turnover for Bitcoin ETFs against full five-day weeks since the week ending October 11, 2024. US markets were closed on Good Friday, which may have contributed to the low volume.
The lack of price movement has also led to a slowdown in trading activity. BTC spent most of the week trading around $64,000, well off the highs seen late last year.
