Bitcoin ETFs Bleed $120M as Ether and XRP See Inflows
U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continued to bleed capital on Wednesday, losing $120 million as several of the market's largest funds experienced redemptions.
ARK & 21Shares' ARKB led the selling with a $77.98 million outflow, followed by Grayscale's GBTC with $27.22 million in losses and Blackrock's IBIT shedding $19.53 million.
Morgan Stanley's MSBT was a rare bright spot, attracting $4.49 million, while overall trading value across bitcoin ETFs reached $2.05 billion and net assets closed at $99.33 billion.
In contrast to the redemptions in bitcoin, ether ETFs saw significant inflows with $34.75 million in net inflows, led by Blackrock's staking ether ETF ETHB with $22.94 million and 21Shares' TETH with $2.10 million.
XRP ETFs also continued their run of positive flows, adding $12.29 million, while solana ETFs drew $11.73 million. Bitwise's BSOL accounted for $11.18 million, with Morgan Stanley's MSOL contributing $558,150 to the total.
