Bitcoin ETFs Bleed $463M Amid Ethereum Fund Surge
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) suffered $462.7 million in net outflows last week, bringing an end to their strongest three-week inflow run of 2026.
The four-day losing streak from September 8 through September 11 saw selling intensify on Thursday, with the funds shedding $282.7 million - their largest single-day outflow since July.
Despite this reversal, Bitcoin ETFs are still positive for September, with approximately $307.3 million in net inflows through Friday.
The withdrawals come as Bitcoin continues to struggle below the psychologically important $80,000 level, trading around $77,900 on Monday after failing to sustain its recent recovery.
Ethereum ETFs, however, moved in the opposite direction with $196.9 million in net inflows during the same four-day week.
The crypto market now faces another potential volatility catalyst, with the Federal Reserve due to announce its next interest-rate decision on September 16.
