Bitcoin ETFs Bleed Over $450M Amid BTC Price Slide
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced significant outflows on September 10, totaling $282.7 million. This marks a sharp acceleration in ETF selling after net withdrawals of $46.6 million on September 8 and $120.2 million on September 9.
The cumulative withdrawals over the three sessions amount to roughly $449.5 million. ARK Invest and 21Shares' ARKB accounted for the largest share of Thursday's losses, with $164.3 million in outflows.
Grayscale's GBTC followed closely behind, shedding $38.4 million, while Fidelity's FBTC lost $33.6 million. BlackRock's IBIT, the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF, reported $24.5 million in withdrawals.
The only fund to record positive flows during this session was MSBT, attracting $4 million. The combination of falling prices and accelerating ETF withdrawals suggests institutional demand has weakened significantly over the past several sessions.
