Bitcoin ETFs Climb Back from Record Outflows, but Investors Remain Cautious
US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) managed to finish July in the green, despite a late-month wave of selling and price volatility. According to data from SoSoValue, these ETFs attracted $172.4 million in net inflows during the month, reversing two consecutive months of outflows.
This marks an improvement for Bitcoin ETF flows after nearly $7 billion in combined outflows over the previous two months, including a record $4.5 billion in June. However, the weak finish showed investors remained cautious heading into August, with a net outflow of $265.4 million on Friday.
BTC ETFs have still recorded around $5.3 billion in net outflows year to date, but have attracted a total of $51.32 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch. Total net assets stood at $76.29 billion at the end of July.
