Bitcoin ETFs Draw $244M Amid Rebound, Ethereum Flows Turn Positive
US-listed cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continued their recovery on August 5, with spot Bitcoin products recording a third consecutive day of net inflows. During this session, US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $244.4 million in net inflows, marking the strongest daily inflow since late July.
The majority of new capital went to BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which brought in $254.5 million, with smaller outflows from competing funds offsetting some gains. Meanwhile, spot Ethereum ETFs rebounded after posting outflows the previous trading day, recording $53.1 million in net inflows.
BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led this category, attracting $42.5 million. The return to positive flows suggests institutional investors continue to view Ether as an attractive long-term allocation despite recent market volatility.
