Bitcoin ETFs Dump $463M as Ether Funds Surge to $197M
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced their largest weekly outflow since July, shedding $463 million in net withdrawals. This reversal comes after three consecutive weeks of inflows, which reached a total of $307.3 million in positive flows for September. The outflows were led by the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF with $234.2 million and Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust ETF with $129.1 million.
The biggest daily withdrawal occurred on Thursday, when US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $282.7 million. This was followed by a slowdown to $13.2 million on Friday, extending the negative streak to four trading days.
In contrast, Ether ETFs saw significant inflows, adding nearly $197 million in net investments over the same period. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust ETF led this growth with $148.8 million in inflows, while 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF added $29.1 million.
