The US-listed Bitcoin ETFs have been showing an annual deficit of around $1 billion since January, but recent weeks have seen a significant shift in momentum. Inflows reached nearly $3.8 billion over three weeks, greatly reducing the gap accumulated since the beginning of the year.

This acceleration comes after several months marked by significant redemptions, with June 2026 seeing an estimated $4.5 billion in outflows that weighed heavily on the annual balance.

The recent influx of capital has focused on a short period rather than sustained over several months, with a single day in September attracting $730.9 million and the week ending September 5 generating an additional $986.9 million.

August marked a turning point for this category of funds, with net inflows reaching $3.52 billion, making it the best month of the year according to data.
