Bitcoin ETFs Extend Streak to Eight Days, Attracting Over $2.8 Billion
Bitcoin ETFs attracted another $232.1 million in inflows on Wednesday, marking the eighth consecutive day of net gains. The streak has now accumulated a total of $2.8 billion, significantly reducing year-to-date outflows and solidifying the role of these funds in shaping market flows.
The pace of inflows slowed compared to Tuesday's strong showing, with Wednesday's figure representing a 26% drop from the previous day's record-breaking $314.4 million. Despite this slowdown, cumulative net inflows have reached $54.6 billion and total assets now stand at $98.6 billion.
The latest figures come as Bitcoin itself softened after briefly pushing above $80,000 earlier in the week, trading near $78,759 at publishing time. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose to 71 from 65, firmly holding in 'Greed' territory, and sentiment improved despite the price pause.
IBIT led the way with a staggering $2.02 billion, accounting for 72% of total inflows over the streak, while Grayscale's GBTC shed $50.4 million on Wednesday. Analysts highlighted record-breaking flows into gold and Bitcoin funds, with Eric Balchunas pointing to a combined $7 billion pouring in over the past week.
