Bitcoin ETFs Flooded with $100 Million in New Investment Amid Altcoin Outflows
The cryptocurrency market is seeing a divergence in investor demand for various ETFs, with Bitcoin emerging as the safer option during uncertain times. On September 2, U.S. investors showed a clear preference for Bitcoin spot ETFs, which saw net inflows of $101.15 million and a total net asset increase to $97.22 billion.
This influx of capital has pushed the cumulative net inflows of Bitcoin ETFs to around $54.73 billion, with daily trading volume reaching approximately $1.73 billion. In contrast, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana products experienced net outflows on the same day.
Ethereum's daily net outflow was $48.08 million, despite its 30-day flows remaining positive at $1.83 billion. The total inflows for Ethereum ETFs are still around $13.03 billion, indicating that recent withdrawals are not as significant in the long run.
XRP and Solana suffered even greater losses, with XRP experiencing a net outflow of $57.20 million across its five ETF products. However, cumulative net inflows for XRP stand at approximately $1.68 billion, and its 30-day figure remains positive at $165.22 million.
