Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US have seen their fifth consecutive day of net inflows, adding $98.85 million on August 7. This follows a streak that started on August 3 and has not been broken since.

The latest figures mark a significant shift from earlier this year when spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $5.4 billion in net outflows during the first half of 2026, their first negative half-year since they launched in early 2024.

Blackrock's IBIT captured $479 million of the $626 million three-day haul at the beginning of this week, a significant portion of which is attributed to institutional rebalancing. The inflow pace would have looked out of reach just a month ago, but weekly bitcoin ETF inflows have now topped $750 million.

On the Ethereum side, spot ether ETFs pulled in $49.60 million on August 7, marking their fourth consecutive day of gains. Blackrock's ETHA brought in $50.34 million, with Fidelity's FETH contributing just $2.87 million.
